Agricultural Commission
The Agricultural Commission's mission is to preserve, revitalize, and sustain Mendon agricultural economic enterprises; serve as facilitators, mediators, and educators to the community; and strengthen the pursuit of agriculture by promoting agricultural-based economic opportunities and encouraging the protection of farmland.

Capital Planning Committee
The goal of the Capital Planning Program is to provide a means of planning for the maintenance and/or improvement of the capital assets and infrastructure of the Town of Mendon.

Community Preservation Committee
The Community Preservation Act was signed into law in 2000 and accepted by Mendon in 2002. The Act creates a fund to be used for open space protection, historic preservation, affordable housing, and outdoor recreation.

Conservation Commission
The Mendon Conservation Commission is the official agency responsible for the protection of Mendon’s natural resources. Authority is granted under the Conservation Commission Act (MGL C.40 §8c)

General By-laws Review Committee
The General By-laws Review Committee is responsible for reviewing, updating, and recommending changes to the organization's by-laws to ensure they remain current, clear, and in compliance with applicable laws and best practices.

Historic District Commission
The Historic District Commission is responsible for preserving the historical integrity of designated areas by reviewing and approving changes to properties within the district, ensuring that any modifications align with preservation guidelines and regulations.

Historical Commission
The Mendon Historical Commission works to protect and preserve the town’s historic sites, buildings, and cultural heritage. The Commission meets monthly and supports various preservation projects and community initiatives.

Housing Authority
The Housing Authority provides 30 affordable one-bedroom units for elderly and disabled residents, ensuring safe and accessible housing in the community.

Select Board
The Select Board is comprised of five Board Members who are elected to a term of three years. The Select Board serves as the chief executive board of the Town, and as such, oversees all matters affecting the interest and welfare of the community.

Senior & Community Center Building Committee
This committee oversees the planning and development of Mendon's new Senior & Community Center. It provides updates on project design, costs, and hosts public informational sessions.

Taxation Aid Committee
The Taxation Aid Committee is a local board established to oversee the distribution of funds from the Taxation Aid Fund, which provides financial assistance to qualifying residents struggling to pay their property taxes.

Town Forest Committee
The Town Forest Committee was appointed by the Mendon Select Board at their August 6th, 2012 meeting to manage and care for that portion of the public domain under the jurisdiction of the Mendon Conservation Commission that is known as the Mendon Town Forest.

Water Commission
The Water Commission consists of three elected members. The Commission also employs an administrative clerk and a Certified Water Operator. The Commission oversees hydrant flushing, the replacement of defective meters, monthly sampling and reporting. The Commission is also working on upgrading the system to radio-read meters.
